Hexton Manor Estate is situated just 40 miles from London, at the north eastern tip of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Hexton and its surroundings are steeped in history, with the land cultivated for over 5,000 years.
Following the Dissolution of the Monasteries, the estate passed through seventeen different families, with work on the present manor beginning in 1767 and further improvements made over the centuries. The present owners acquired the estate in 2018.
Conservation and wildlife management sit at the heart of the estate, with woodland management plans and stewardship schemes supporting game, farmland birds and pollinators across Hexton's woods and chalk grassland.
